The Rotaract Club was started in January 2013 by 13 young professionals residing and working in Embu, under the sponsorship of the Rotary Club of Embu. They held their first fellowship in mid January 2013 and since then, the club has grew in numbers. The Club is guided by the four avenues of service in rotaract namely:

2. International Service
3. Community Service
4. Professional Development Service
